Itinerary
Day 1:
- We depart from Mossel Bay to Nature’s Valley at about 08:00 with pick-ups at pre-detriment pick up points along the way.
- Visit Birds of Eden (Admission fee included.)
- Arrive at Nature’s Valley in the afternoon.
- Settle into our accommodation in the De Vaselot Caravan Park. We will be staying in the forest huts.
- Relax and explore Natures Valley.
- Relax while we prepare a fire for an evening braai.
Day 2:
- Breakfast at 08:30.
- After breakfast we will be exploring Storms River Mouth Rest Camp. Take a short hike to the famous suspension bridges or hike to the viewpoint or the Waterval.
- Lunch at Storms River Mouth (Own expense).
- Return to Nature’s Valley where you can relax or take a stroll on the beach.
- Tonight, we will be having a braai once again and then go off to take a well-deserved rest.
Day 3
- After breakfast we will be heading home with a stopover in Knysna.
- In Knysna we will visit the famous Featherbed Nature Reserve a stunning, privately-owned nature reserve located on the Western Head of Knysna. It’s a South African Heritage Site and offers a pristine piece of paradise accessible only by ferry.
- We will enjoy a guided 4×4 vehicle and trailer drive up the headland stopping at spectacular viewpoints.
- There are beautiful trails where you can explore indigenous fynbos and coastal forests
- Enjoy a cruise on the lagoon.
- Enjoy a buffet lunch in the reserve before we will be heading back home.
- Arrive back home at about 4pm.
